BharNET: Indian Browser is developed and offered by Raut Masters.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when users install and use BharNET.
BharNET does not require users to create an account.
Raut Masters does not collect, store, sell, rent, or share users’ personal information or browsing activity on servers operated by Raut Masters.
Browser information such as history, bookmarks, tabs, blocked websites, offline pages, downloads, and preferences is processed and stored locally on the user’s device where required to provide the app’s features.
When a user chooses to visit a website, perform a search, use voice search, translate a page, open news content, download a file, make a Google Play purchase, or enable proxy functionality, information required to complete that request may be sent directly to the relevant third-party service.
Such user-requested interactions are governed by the privacy policies of the relevant websites and service providers.

BharNET does not require account registration or login with Raut Masters.

Users may separately sign in to third-party websites through the browser. Those sign-ins are interactions between the user and the relevant website. Raut Masters does not receive the login credentials entered into third-party websites.
BharNET may process and store information locally on the user’s Android device to provide browser functions.

Users can manage or delete supported local information through BharNET or Android settings.
Clearing BharNET’s app data or uninstalling BharNET generally removes app-specific local data. Downloaded or exported files stored outside the app’s private storage may remain until the user deletes them.
When a user enters a website address or follows a link, BharNET connects to the requested website to display its content.
The website may receive information normally transmitted during an internet connection, such as:

Raut Masters does not operate the websites visited through BharNET and does not control their collection, storage, or use of information.
Users should review the privacy policy of each website they use.
Normal browsing history may be stored locally on the device so users can revisit previously opened pages.
Raut Masters does not receive or maintain a server-side database of users’ browsing histories.
Users may clear browsing history through supported BharNET controls or by clearing the app’s data through Android settings.
BharNET provides private tabs or a private-browsing mode.
Private sessions are designed not to preserve normal browsing history, cookies, or session information after the relevant private tabs or private session are closed.
Private browsing does not make users invisible or anonymous to:
Files intentionally downloaded during a private session may remain on the device. Bookmarks or other information intentionally saved by the user may also remain.
BharNET uses Brave Search as its default search engine and may allow users to choose other search engines.
When a user performs a search, the search terms are sent directly to the selected search engine to provide search results.
The search provider may receive information normally associated with the request, including the search terms, IP address, browser information, cookies, and language settings.
Raut Masters does not collect or store users’ search queries on its own servers.
Search engines process information according to their own privacy policies.
BharNET may request permission to access the microphone for voice-search functionality.
Microphone access is used when the user actively starts voice input.
BharNET does not continuously record or listen through the microphone.
Raut Masters does not store users’ voice recordings on Raut Masters servers.
Voice input may be processed by Android, Google, or another speech-recognition service available on the device. The speech-recognition provider may receive the audio required to convert speech into text.
Users may deny or revoke microphone permission through Android settings. Other browser features can continue to work without microphone permission, although voice search will be unavailable.
BharNET includes ad-blocking and content-blocking functionality.
The app may inspect web requests locally to compare them with blocking rules and reduce advertisements, pop-ups, trackers, or other unwanted content.
Raut Masters does not collect users’ browsing history through the content-blocking feature.
Content blocking cannot guarantee that every advertisement, tracker, malicious page, or unwanted resource will be blocked.
BharNET may allow users to block selected websites.
Blocked website lists and related preferences are stored locally on the user’s device.
Raut Masters does not receive users’ blocked website lists.
BharNET allows users to save supported web pages for offline reading.
When a user chooses to save a page, BharNET may download and store a local copy of that page or supported page content on the device.
Raut Masters does not receive the saved page through its own servers.
Offline pages may contain content belonging to third-party websites. Users are responsible for complying with the applicable website terms and copyright requirements.
BharNET can use Android’s download functionality to download files requested by users.
Downloaded files are stored on the user’s device.
BharNET may process download information locally to:

Files downloaded from the internet may contain harmful or unwanted content. Users should download and open files only from trusted sources.
BharNET uses the Android foreground-service data-sync capability for supported user-visible tasks that may need to continue while the app is not actively displayed.

The FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC permission does not give Raut Masters access to additional personal information and is not used to upload users’ personal data to Raut Masters servers.
The service is used only to allow supported app operations to continue reliably under Android’s background-execution rules.
BharNET may provide an optional premium proxy or VPN-related browsing feature.
When the user deliberately enables this feature, network requests handled by the feature may be routed through the infrastructure needed to provide the connection.

Raut Masters does not use proxy or VPN browsing activity to build advertising profiles and does not sell users’ browsing information.
The exact information processed may depend on the infrastructure used to provide the feature. Users should review any disclosure presented before enabling the feature.
No proxy, VPN, browser, or network system can guarantee complete anonymity or absolute security.
BharNET may display news headlines and links relating to India, global news, sports, technology, business, and other categories.
News content may be obtained from third-party publishers, websites, feeds, or content services.
When BharNET retrieves or opens news content, the relevant source may receive information required to return that content, such as the IP address, device or browser information, and requested news item.
Raut Masters does not use news-reading activity to create a personal user profile.
Third-party publishers process information according to their own privacy policies.
BharNET may provide an option to translate supported web pages.
When a user initiates translation, the page text or requested content may be sent to a translation service so the translated version can be generated.
This occurs only when the user chooses to use the translation feature.
Raut Masters does not store translated page content on its own servers.
Users should not submit confidential or sensitive information to translation services unless they trust the applicable service provider.
BharNET may view Wi-Fi and network-connection information to determine whether an internet connection is available and to operate online features.

Used to confirm valid purchases, premium access, or licensing through Google Play.
These permissions are used to provide the functions described in BharNET. They are not used by Raut Masters to create a database of personal user information.
BharNET offers optional purchases and premium features through Google Play.
Payments are processed by Google Play Billing.
Raut Masters does not receive or store users’ complete debit-card, credit-card, bank-account, or UPI credentials.
Google may process payment and transaction information according to Google’s own privacy policy.
BharNET may receive limited purchase information necessary to confirm whether a premium feature has been purchased, such as:

Raut Masters does not sell users’ personal information.
Raut Masters does not share users’ personal data or browsing histories with advertising companies, data brokers, or other organizations.

Raut Masters may also disclose information if legally required by a valid and applicable legal process. Because Raut Masters does not maintain a server-side database of users’ browsing histories, it generally does not possess such records to disclose.

Raut Masters does not use BharNET to build advertising profiles based on the websites users visit.
BharNET does not intentionally collect analytics or tracking information through servers operated by Raut Masters.
Third-party websites opened through BharNET may independently use cookies, analytics, advertisements, fingerprinting, or tracking technologies. BharNET cannot control all technologies used by external websites.
The built-in content blocker is intended to reduce some unwanted advertising and tracking, but it cannot guarantee complete blocking.
Information managed directly by BharNET is primarily stored locally on the device.

Because BharNET does not require a Raut Masters account and Raut Masters does not maintain a central user database, there is generally no server-side BharNET account requiring a deletion request.
Data independently held by websites, search engines, Google Play, speech-recognition providers, translation providers, proxy infrastructure, or other external services must be managed through those services.
Raut Masters takes reasonable steps to design BharNET so that information directly managed by the browser remains primarily on the user’s device.
However, no mobile application, internet connection, website, proxy, VPN, or storage system is completely secure.

BharNET has a Google Play content rating of Rated for 3+, but BharNET is a general-purpose internet browser and is not specifically designed exclusively for children.
The browser may provide access to third-party internet content that Raut Masters does not create or fully control.
Parents and guardians should supervise children’s internet use and use appropriate device-level parental controls.
Raut Masters does not knowingly request children to provide personal information directly to Raut Masters through BharNET.
A parent or guardian who believes a child has directly submitted personal information to Raut Masters may contact us.
BharNET may interact with third-party services selected by the user or required for a requested feature, including:

Raut Masters may update this Privacy Policy when BharNET’s functionality, permissions, third-party services, legal requirements, or data-handling practices change.
